In order to have a fully functional program there is a couple steps that need to be taken in order to have this accomplished. These steps include obtaining your license key and registering on the Saltbush website.

RECEIVING LICENSE KEY
- CRN from Saltbush which you should receive a few days after purchase of the program. If not please contact us and we can provide it to you.
- The registration code and date from the Help->Register screen inside herdmaster

With these three things you simply send an email to saltbush and they will return a license key for you. Something to remember about the license key is that it expires after 4 days so you will need to put it an at your earliest convenience. This same procedure can be used in order to license your custom reporter.*

REGISTERING ON SALTBUSH WEBSITE
Registering on the saltbush website includes to categories of users. Completely new users to the herdMaster program and past users who have not re-registered. To be able to find where to register you need to visit the saltbush homepage, which can be found in links on the left, and click on support->SOS log in. This will bring you to the log in screen. Also clicking on this link will bring you to the log in page. Register Now. Both new users and those re-registering need to follow these steps.
-Click New User?
-Click the Canadian User link
-Fill in you CRN, first & last name, email
You will then receive an email containing your password. This email should take less then 24 hours to come back to you. You can now use this password with your CRN to access information on the saltbush website.

This is important as any updates will need to be downloaded from your user page on the saltbush website.

*Please note that the custom reporter comes at no extra cost it is just needed to be licensed.
